Islingby IK / IK Brage

Islingby IK / IK Brage was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Islingby IK / IK Brage, 60 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Islingby IK / IK Brage could be found in Group 7 together with Tyresö FF Gul, Premier Soccer Academy and Älvängens IK. Islingby IK / IK Brage continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against NorCal Premier PDP with 0-5. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Jitex BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Islingby / Brage comes from Borlänge which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borlänge does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK, Gustafs GoIF, Islingby IK, Slätta SK and Kvarnsvedens IK).
