IFK Osby

IFK Osby was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IFK Osby, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof IFK Osby could be found in Group 6 together with Rapid Athene, Mullsjö IF and Örgryte IS. IFK Osby continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Växjö DFF with 0-2. In the Final, Dallas Texans Soccer Club won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. IFK Osby comes from Osby which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Osby does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (FC Hessleholm, Markaryds IF and Älmhults IF).
