IBFF/ÖIF

IBFF/ÖIF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IBFF/ÖIF, 253 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 63 different groups, whereof IBFF/ÖIF could be found in Group 17 together with European Football Academy, Entente Osten Luxembourg and Sandsbro AIK. IBFF/ÖIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Skene IF with 2-4. In the Final, Barca Academy Dubai won over Vasalunds IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. IBFF/ÖIF comes from Piteå which lies approximately 980 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Alviks IK, Storfors AIK, Piteå IF, Södra United IF and FC Norrsken).
