Footgeneration FA Algarve

Footgeneration FA Algarve was one of 11 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Footgeneration FA Algarve, 189 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Footgeneration FA Algarve could be found in Group 7 together with Ullensaker Kisa, V. Frölunda IF and Throttur, FC 1. Footgeneration FA Algarve continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CD Inter Vista Alegre 1 with 0-1. In the Final, Throttur, FC 1 won over Bara GIF Svart and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Footgeneration FA Algarve comes from Faro which lies approximately 2700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Footgeneration FA Algarve, the club Escola Futebol Faro does also originate from the area around Faro.
