Club Pelota al Medio a la Esperanza

Club Pelota al Medio a la Esperanza was one of two clubs from Uruguay that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Club Pelota al Medio a la Esperanza, 82 other teams from 15 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Club Pelota al Medio a la Esperanza could be found in Group 2 together with Orlando City Soccer Club, Lørenskog IF and Emmaboda IS. Club Pelota al Medio a la Esperanza continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Qviding FIF 1 with 1-2. In the Final, FK Lillehammer won over Jusball FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18.
